My car idles bad and when i let off the gas sometimes it seems to bog down (like it's losing power) a little but it feels electrical related to me. I got 23 lbs accel injectors to put on and a holley fuel pressure regulator but kinda waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. I already ohm tested the injectors and they all read fine. What are the symptoms of a clogged fuel injector , just out of curiousity.
Well, if it was an injector on the driver side hopefully the O2 sensor would pick up a lean or rich condition. There isn't much testing you can do on the injectors without being under the hood for a while.
The symptoms you have could be injector related, or something else, weak pump or regulator, vacuum leak... a number of things.

A clogged injector would lean out that specific cylinder and possibly cause a misfire. If the current injectors in the engine are the original ones, then go ahead and swap them out. Install the stuff you already bought.
Also, check for error codes, and if you have access to a scanner, get some scans on what the engine is doing.
BTW: I use to know a David Roush who raced in SCCA on Kumho tires. Is that you?

Well the reason i am leaning to the injectors is because they look like original rochester injectors and i did a tuned port swap and *** only knows how many miles they have on them. Not to mention for about a week it was running like i dropped a cylinder so i got the correct chip burnt , which helped a ton but it still ran a tad funny, so i put in some fuel injector cleaner in and it seemed to make it run even better, almost perfect. Fuel pump is a brand new AC Delco and no vacuum leaks. But it's heading down hill again. I was getting a code 42 (on and off) but i think that's because i was messing with the timing wire and never cleared the codes right away. I am thinking if it's not the injectors i am going to put in a MSD 6 A ignition module in it next. Different David Roush Doc.
