code 36 ? can this be falsely set?
can this code be set off by say.... messing around with vss wiring? i followed the flow chart and wound up at "fualty ecm or ecm connections or high resisit ance in ckt relays or connections"

No, because the VSS is not even in the circuit with MAF Burn-Off Sensor and there is no connection between the two. The only way this could happen is if you screwed up the wires at the ECM and got them crossed.

i didnt mess with any of the wires at the ECM i just simply followed the instructions provided with the vss adapter
the car will run fine for like 5 minutes and then its like something just goes haywire my TPS will readf backward, my IAC will all of a sudden show 0 counts , the maf will sit there and studder between 5-7 gm/sec
it still manages to go into limp mode thankfully
how does one test the ECM?
