Car stalled, won't start up again

I was driving the other day and my car just died all of the sudden. It stalled out and the check engine light came on. I tried to start it again and it would crank strong but wouldn't kick back over. I'm getting fuel to the rails and the pressure is fine. The battery is fine...I checked it. Anyone have any idea what could have happened? I have a tpi 350. Thanks in advance.

Did you check the basics? Spark, Injectors pulsing?

Same thing happened to me it turned out to be the little ignition module inside the distributor cap. I changed it out and BAM the car fired, they have been known to fail and the car will shut off as you are driving.

Just wanted to update and thank everyone...it was the module in the distributor...changed it and it started up right away...also seems to run a little smoother too. Where would I be without this group? Thanks again!
