TPI temperature sensor compound

Does anybody know what thread sealant compound to put on the threads of the air temperature sensor on the bottom side of the plenum? When I pulled mine off it kind of looked like that white tephlon sealant that plumbers use.

Thanks for any help.

You don't really need to use anything but if you want you can use thread sealent with teflon.
