Should I port or siamize?

I took my formula to the track for the first time last friday. It ran a 9.6 in the 8th, with a lot of wheel spin. I want to run in the 8's at least . Since then I moved my battery to the back got an msd box and coil and got some 28 x 10 slicks. I also have long tube headers, hypertech chip w/ 160 thermostat, tb bypass, cai. Next I want to work on my intake should I just port the plenum and runners or siamize or what?

To run 8s in the 8th...modifying the TPI is not necessary. Having said that...porting you do will increase your potential of achieving 8s. I personally would not siameze the base. Just port matching and siamesing of the runners and plenum...and plenum porting.

There is currently a post on the organized racing and autocross board where someone ran an 8.7X in the 8th ina Formula with stock TPI...
