Hard vacuum lines from wiring Harness go...?
I've got two hard vacuum lines coming from the passenger side wiring harness. One goes to the Heater Valve... the other I have no idea where it goes because it's broke off and doesn't have the other end anywhere.
The only open vacuum port I've found is one on a "T" that gets plenum vacuum on the same line that goes to the cruise control.
Could this be why I don't get any heat from my vents? (The door opens)
Help?
Thanks
-Paul

Paul, one is for heater diverter valve and the other is the vaccum supply for the HVAC system. The HVAC system uses vaccum to close and open vent gates and the diverter valve. If you removed the diverter valve, plug that hard line. Put the other one back on a manifold vaccum supply fitting. If the hard line is broken, find the right size of vaccuum line and slide it over the hard line for a patch or replacement length.

Sweet! I removed the Hvac and did plug it, I thought that may have been why I wasn't able to get heat. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any heat!
I bet that's why my cruise control doesn't work either because that line hard line goes to that T fitting.
THANKS!

You removed the HVAC control interrface or you removed just the a/c?
The cruise gets its vaccum from another line and is not associated with the hard lines going into your wiring harness.
As a check for your heater, make sure you get vaccum state change at the diverter valve when you flip to heater on at the HVAC controls.

Hehe sorry I got all excited. I removed the Heater Valve. The one that upon vacuum it lets coolant into the heater core. I did plug that line. Thought maybe it wasn't opening. So I have coolant in my heater core at all times.
The AC is also removed with an AC delete box, however, I did have heat after the AC delete.
The cruise control gets its vacuum from manifold vacuum, and seeing as how the only open vacuum place I have is on a T in that line, the heat doesn't work, nor does the cruise control... I would assume those two places need to be connected.
No vacuum reaching the hvac, vacuum excaping the CC circuit.
One day last summer the cruise control didn't work. Then I had no heat this winter (didn't use heat in the summer).
