25 lb LS1 injectors enought for my 383?
I have brand new 25 lb LS1 injectors to use for my 383 buildup but I am thinking that they wont be enough. Here is what I have:
383 all forged
10:1 CR
AFR 190 heads 73CC
224/230 .503/.510 w/1.5 RR
HSR w/ AFPR
rest of mods are in sig.
I will be running a 150HP shot of nitrous once in while at the track with this setup but my engine is not built for nitrous it is just an extra toy. WIll these injectors be enough or should I get something bigger?

I would say that those would be right on the edge without nitrous, and only if you uped the fuel pressure
I would use no lower then 30# inj., probable 36 or better

There is absolutely no reason to run more than a 30lber.
With your N2O system I imagine it will be a wet plate kit.
So unless you plan to fuel a dry N2O setup through the ECM then 30lbs is max for what you got.
Run what you got to start, do some datalogging, eyeball your duty cycle, raise your pressure, get some wideband data.
I run SVO 24lbers at 56 PSI on my 383.

ok well my only concern with that is running that much FP. can you push an injector to its max and actually ruin it. I dont to push the limits of the injectors. Is it the same to run a 25 lb injector at 58psi and a 30 lb injector at 50 psi?
This should help you out.

SVO stuff is rated @ 39PSI Vs. 43.5PSI for GM.
