91' Tpi Maf
i was wondering about the MAF on the 91 305 TPI engine. where is it? or does it even exist? if it doesn't what did they replace it with. i was wondering because i am going to replace my intake and i need to know if there is a MAF that i need to keep because that would be very bad if i threw one of those away. i don't recall the 91' have a MAF but i wanted to be sure. Thanks

Don't need no stinkin' MAF!!!
On a 91 TPI, you have a MAP sensor mounted to the back passenger's side of your plenum. Yours is a speed density system, controlled by engine vacuum as the indicator of engine load instead of a MAF sensor.
