Engine: LS1, 305 TPI

Transmission: 4L60E, 700R-4

Fuel injector pintle caps

Whats a good way to remove them without breaking them? Where can I get new ones. I am swapping injectors and a couple caps are broken or missing. I have some worn out spare injectors with good caps on them so I want to put them on. Are the caps even necessary?
