zz409 Cam and 350 engine

Nice website u guys have here!!
I've got a super ram which i plan on getting extrude honed, and a pair of AFR 195 heads milled down to 58cc because its going on a zz-shortblock.
Ive done some seaches, and most of the people ive seen with the super ram go with the lpe 219 cam, but i want a lil' bit more so i was considering zz409 cam. Its got a single pattern, which the superram likes and has a little more duration, but i havent heard anyone with a 350 with this cam. Anybody with it, can i get some feedback from you? How are the street manners? I still want to be able to pretty much smoke anyone stoplight to stoplight, so i dont want to lose too much lowend torque.

Thanks

You might want to expand your search to other cams as well.

The CC XR276HR is also making alot of power in several Superram cars and is now a very popular choice as well.

Wut about the Comp cams XE 282 HR cam? I forgot who mentioned it but that seems like its a pretty healthy cam. Too big??

I have a friend that is running a zz409 with the superram in an 86 vette. The first trip to the track it ran 7.62@ 88.78mph with a a 1.57 60ft. The rest of the combo is out of the box afr 190 hooker long tubes comp cams1.6rr and b&m 3000 holeshot non lock up converter 30lb accel injectors. He was running a miniram and switch to the super ram and just changing the intake same timing fuel pressure same shift points he picked up alittle over a tenth and alittle over 1mph

I'm running that cam on my 355 SuperRam engine.
My first (and last) trip to the track with it netted me a 13.7@102 on a stock APYP tune.
3 weeks later my fuel pump DIED.
I had been experiencing some fluctuations in performance for about 3 months before the pump went out.
I have no idea what my car runs now with a good pump.
It sounds nasty though!
