Problem with Computer?

I have an 85 Iroc with a 305 TPI Bored .30 with a mild cam miled heads and oversized valves. Stock manifolds with 3" cat back. I run only 3 pulleys, Crank, Water pump, alternator. Well I can't seem to figure out why I keep triping a code thats says I have a bad MAP sensor. I can't find a map sensor on my car. They guy I bought the car from did most of the work but left it like crap. The computer is bone stock but has a hypertech prom chip in it that the guy I think got second hand. Any ideas what the hell is the problem??? It dynoed 200 hp and 263 FPT the other day.

You have the crappy '85 ECM like I do. It throws a false code 34. Do a search for "False Code". There is a good thread on the DIY board that explains everything.

False code 34 comes from the stock PROM chips, the hypercrap one shouldn't be throwing a false code, it may in fact have a MAF problem.

You're right. I got ahead of myself and missed that it had the hypercrap chip.
