Flo matching old vs new injectors
Gonna send in the injectors out of the 85 TPI unit I bought and have them cleaned up/flo matched.
I've heard that early TPI injectors were troublesome and prone to
failure. Is it worth it to spend the $80-90 and have an early set re-done ? Or should I stay away from these in my low mile (36k) 91.

Whoever you send them off to - if they come to find a faulty injector they should replace it with a rebuilt one. I'd say it is worth it. You can pick up gas mileage and horsepower, not to mention peace of mind if they all come back with an "ok".

since your car has pretty low mileage, I would say to save the cash and go with flo matching. Save the new and imporved injectors until you either get a bunch of mods or have a few of the injectors all of a sudden go bad on you from age/mileage.
