Can someone explain the duel snorkel intake on the camaros for me?

Can someone explain the duel snorkel intake on the camaros for me?
Subject sums it up. I'm putting a 350 TPI in my GF's 91 RS. The motor is an 89 350 so we will be running maf. we have the maf boot from TB to MAF, but what holds the maf in the snorkel? It slides in and its loose. Is there clamps or something? a MAF gasket? The snokel is a 91 I believe.

over the whole thing? There is NO room inbetween teh snorkel and the maf. the maf is accually in the snorkel hole. does anybody ahve a pic?

there should be a little ring clip that holds the MAF to the dual snorkel assembly.... not another boot.

Yeah It's a metal ring, kinda of like a clamp.
