Modifying TPI intake bolt hole....
I have a set of Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads for my 355 build and having to use a dremel with a cutting tool to modifiy the two center bolt holes on my TPI lower intake. Just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and been successful? Thanks.

I actually had a machine shop do it, but it's a standard procedure to have to do it to get it to mount on pre-1985 style heads. Works fine!

Thanks. I took my dremel and cutting bit to oval out the hole. I just installed the intake and looks good so far.
If you want, go ahead and post the pics. I'd like to see if I did mine right.

yep, as long as you don't go way oversize on the holes, you won't have any issues with the manifold sealing up to the heads. There's plenty of mating surface on both sides of the hole, at least an inch both ways IIRC.
