I need cam help with my 'dirty bird' 350

Due to the upcoming escape from west coast smog laws, Im able to built a 350 using a HSR as the intake manifold:rockon: Im going to custom fab my cold air intake with some handywork and a 1000cfm K&N filter for SD 3rd gens. Ill be using a 52mmTB, AFR 195s, and 26-28# injectors. Im lost at the cam. I want all the streetable power I can get, but theres so many choices. Ive made a list of cams, some on the board some out of jegs and summit catalogs:

trick flow 246/254 .558/.558
trick flow 230/234 .528/.539
crane powermax 234/242 .539/.558
crane powermax 284/292 .509/.528
crane powermax 296/304 .539/.558
cc XE 282/288 .510/.520
cc XE 270/276 .495/.502
LPE219 219/219 .558/.558
ZZ-X 239/239 .558/.558

Some of those #'s are advertised duration(the real high ones), the rest i believe are at .050. Im looking for mid to high 300's rwhp. Headers will be either hooker 2210's, mac true-fits, or slp 1-3/4. Im already planning for a 2800-3000 stall converter to help handle everything. Which would deliever the best results? Also if you feel a different cylinder head would work better with these cams let me know thanks

well looking thru summit I came across a trickflow pro street kit, 445hp 405 tq with their dual spring 195cc heads and the 246/254 TF cam using 1.5 rockers. In the catalog though it says you need an edelbrock airgap manifold and 750 carb. would a SR with a 58mm TB or the HSR with a 52/58mm TB flow enoguh air equivalent to that manifold/carb combo? should i stay with 24# injectors or go bigger?

You did not list your compression. If it is around 11:1, then go with the cam that gives you the best avg hp/tq, idle/vacuum that you can get. Get your hands on a pc dyno program and run some numbers and compare. I would use at least a 3500 stall with those cams, long-tube 2210's, and at least a 3.42 gear.

The easiest thing to do is replicate somebody's combo exactly.

Im running the XR282 on a 110* LSA and it doesnt have much trouble on the street. I am however, running a 3500 converter and 3.45s.

oops...compression will be 9.5-10.1:1. Im not sure what my rear gear is now, but it would be switched to 3.73s, and i was looking at acquiring a yank tq converter 3000-3300 range witht he trickflow setup, but i might jus get their cam and use cnc'd afr190s.
