Anyone planning on trying the new Granatelli MAF?
Anyone planning on trying the new Granatelli MAF?
Or who has already tried it?
Seems like it would be just enough to really put a bite into a ZZ4 or a 383 without giving up street driveability or mileage.
Does the base tune burned into the chip have the ability to cope with the extra signal from the MAF, or does that trigger a custom chip, too?
Don't want to start laying down the $$$$ until I have a better idea about what's up with it...

I ordered and got one when they first came out. Haven't put it on yet, I'm in the process of modifing my cold air kit. Overall it looks like the Wells style MAF. I'll post results also.

The adjustable MAF is kind of a bad idea, because just like raising or lower FP, it makes global changes for power/air flow. If you are simply tuning for WOT, this isn't all bad, but it is still a band-aid.
However, it is a LOT easier than learning to burn a chip and can help you figure out what you combo wants on the track, just like playing with base timing and FP.
I personally won't be buying one...
