What should I run with the HSR???
OK, I am planning on converting my 1991 Firebird 3.1L V6 to a L98...I see stock L98s run low 14s stock.....What should I run with just the HSR as th only mod?? Also, How does this compare to the Miniram???
Thanks

I agree. I think you would be better off upgrading the exhaust system first. Headers, 2 1/2 inch pipes into a 3 inch system and a good muffler. You will see good improvements right away.
Those manifold are for higher rpm. To take advantage of them you need a good exhaust system, cam and heads.

Yes - the HSR on top of a stock L98 is a waste of time and money.
The exhaust will open up the top end potential of the TPI system a little, and the car won't lose it's great torque which in my opinion makes it more fun to drive than a lot of faster cars.

Bigger Cam
Better Heads
Exhaust
High Stall TQ
These w/ the HSR will make her scream
(Doesn't have to be AFR's - there are plenty of budget heads w/ alittle bit of porting that flow decent for the $$$)
PS I think the V6's had 3.42 gears which would be ok, but a set of 3:73 and posi might be nice w/ that V8 - one wheel peel sucks!
