It's not my car, but someone I know. It's been hard to start lately, and a tune up (plugs and wires) were changed out two weeks ago.
Didn't make a difference at all. No check engine light, and ran fine once it started. Cranked over just fine, just took awhile to fire.
Well, today it decided to die in the middle of an intersection. Cranks like crazy and sounds like it wants to run, but won't. What should be checked first? TIA...
BTW, I've seen a fuel injected car I owned in the past act like this, and it turned out to be 2 bad injectors....but I didn't have a hard time starting it before it broke. It would only act up after it was warmed up....

Can you hear the fuel pump running ? If not, check the fuse as posted below.
Between the battery and the radiator is a fuse holder. Check the 20amp fuse in the fuse holder. If it is blown, replace it. If it blows again, good luck finding the problem. I am still chasing down the cause on an 89 Iroc.
