25lb LS1 or 30 Accell injectors I need an answer NOW

I need to know if my NEW LS1 injectors I bought from SLP will work with my engine or if I will need 30lb Accell injectors. I have heard that 25lb LS1 injectors have a different cycle or something. I dont want to have some weird fuel pressure setting because of these LS1 injectors. Someone please explain what is so diff between the LS1 injectors and the regular ones our 3rd gen cars use. engine specs are as follows:

383 10:1CR
stealth ram
holley 58MM TB
comp cams 224 230 .502 .510 LS 112
AFR 190 heads 72CC

rest of mods are in sig.

Dont know what the differences are but it seems to me 30#'s are in order. Thats what I am using. I've got a 406 HSR.

I want you to explain NOW what type of exhaust you're running, header primary size, etc.

I started my new 383 up today with new LS1 injectors and it started and ran fine. I still need to drive it and see how it runs but so far no issues. My fuel pressure is at 46 psi right now.

Gotcha, good info. I'd go with 30# SVO injectors personally, but LS1 injectors fit the HSR fuel rails just fine also.

The SVOs are bigger than the LS1 injectors, give you more room to grow, and still blow a clean pattern a low-pulsewidth idle.

Mike Davis was able to max out the big 28# @ 58psi LS1 injectors on his 355ci engine...> 90% duty cycle. Definitely going to limit you on a 383 with pretty much the same exhaust he was running.

The exhaust specs give an indication of how he intends to use it, and how well he thought out the overall system.

If he was running smaller headers or an otherwise more constrictive exhaust system, I'd say the LS1 injectors were fine.

But, he's evidently done some homework and picked out good parts, so I'd go with Ford red-top 30# injectors and have some room to tune.
