well after paying over 200 bucks for a new alternator, EGR valve, EGR temp sensor, and other little hoses and crap, the car runs great.... except when at a light with the brake pressed in the car runs good. release the brake to go and guess what, car dies... everytime. i dunno what to do now im at my wits end here and am sick of this. i really need help. the car runs great except when in gear and just letting off of the brake. i had to start the car atleast 12 times just to get it into the garage. thanks all.

 

disconnect your brake booster vacuum and plug it and see if it still happens. If it does disconnect the brake light sensor on the foot pedal and see if it still does it.
