Tinker with my fuel pressure?

Hey all, I have an 87 Iroc, TPI 5sp G92. I did a search and read a bunch of posts, but I'm still not sure if I should mess with it. I have a TPIS AFPR and was thinking of installing it in the coming weeks. I'll do a check on the current fuel pressure, but the car runs well. I am looking to up the pressure to get a little extra kick...but I stumbled upon posts that said the TPIS fuel pressure section is full of crap. Any thoughts?

You decide... But if TPIS printed it, it might lean more to fiction.

I picked up .14 in the 1/4 mile by porting my plenum and installing a Holley APFR. My stock FP was 45 psi and I currently have it set at 48 psi. You won't notice a huge difference but if you already have an APFR, you might as well install it.
