Send me your .BIN, I will spice up your fuel and spark a bit for you if you want. Get things leveled out a bit.

Oh yeah, what are you doing to hook that thing up?

I need your short times.

Also, welcome to the big power stock TB club.

I think you and I are the only goofs in that club on this board.

Very nice! 300+ RWHP from 3800 RPM on up is sweet. It will only run better once you tweak the PROM for your combo. Motivation for me to do something with the Corvette D-Ports and AS&M LTRs that are just gathering dust.

That sucks.

Well Once you get it hooked up I will whip you up a .BIN

I just need a few facts to know where we stand before remapping your WOT fuel tables.

How does it idle?

It is a little rough. It seems to idle better when warm. But sometimes it wants to die. But its not to bad considering. Actually I was surprised how well it idled although not like it did stock. It has some issues but I havent messed with anything yet. But I am happy with it so far. I will take you up on that offer when I get the Daicom working properly. Thanks.

Also, welcome to the big power stock TB club.
I'm aiming to join this club, and am glad to see what you guys have accomplished.

Red, with what chip is it running? I ask because I am not too familiar with tuning yet so it will be nice to have the car running and driving reasonably when I swap engines (I'm going from a peanut LB9).

Curious, does it run on 91 gas? My heads are iron, so I'm less familiar with what aluminum heads will tolerate. Also, how extensive was the porting, and did you have them flowed afterwards?

Thank you--I'll look towards that as my starting point. I'm dying to get the heads done, and get the shortblock back from the machinists.

It will run on 91 octane gas but will get alot of knock retard at heavy throttle. I run TT105 unleaded when I race it.

Yeah I hit the dyno. 440TQ, 325HP.

Graph looked completely different than yours.

Send me your dyno file, they should have been able to email to you, it looks like a dyno-jet, I can put them together to compare on one chart.

My car peaks at 5800rpm, and is still making 325hp at 6000. Thats where it has the edge, it gives up some though in the middle.

377z. The porting on my heads was basically port matching and some pocket porting mostly on the the intake ports and some smoothing of the exhaust ports. I did not have them flowed.

Thats almost the exact same engine Ive been planning on building lately. Did you do anything with the upper plenum?? Im thinking you would have port matched it to the runners but was anything else required??

What about the throttle body is that stock or no??

The only thing thats holding me back if finding a place that can recalibrate the system to work with the extra ci. I am clueless when it comes to all that tuning stuff.

Nice job though, that must torque must be very fun!

Yes the Plenum has been port matched and the bumps at the bottom of the entry have been removed. I still have the stock throttle body, and stock chip.

REDZ28: Thanks, good to see such numbers from lighter work on the heads. Of course, I'll only have compression in the low 9's though so my numbers will probably be lower.

Very Nice, I want a 383 so badly, but I'm afraid of Emissions (I'm in Cali).

I've seriously been thinking about it lately.

You didnt have to change the injector constant for the LS1 injectors? I'm running save combo but with TF heads and Superram I needed to set my injectors to 29 for all the BLM's to even out

I probably need to change alot of things on the chip but it runs fine for me right now. After I do a few more things and get My Daicom working Properly I will look into a chip. But Really I have driven carbureted cars that were much harder to drive on the street then my car, so im not really all that concerned about fine tuning just yet. I will someday though Im not sure really what BLMs are, one of these other guys can answer that though.

Very good numbers at the track REDZ28
That's exactly the motor that I'm planning on building.
What kind of pistons did you use? Flat top, or dished?
Are you able to use pump gas with that compression? 91 octane?
