Well assuming the pump is actually running, you may want to check for pressure anyway. It wouldn't be the first time I heard of a fuel pump running backwards!

yea its pumping fuel becuase, not to proud of it, the fittings where my SS braided line and the hard line in the frame meet are leaking. not to badly though, not enough to lower the pressure, but they are.
but alright. i was going to do that the first chance i get at a pressure guage....

well i MAY have found the problem. yet again, i've said that a couple times now. lol.
the ground wire for the fuel pump reley is falling out. the other wires look like there about to too. so i think i'll replace the reley and the connector and while i'm at it do it with the other two just in case. i know my brother had problems with those 3 releys(MAF, fuel pump and whatever the other one is) with them always beeing faulty. also the guy that owned the car, that this harness came out of, before my brother gloped a CRAP load of di-electric greese all over the connections. maybe thats interfearing...

i'll tell you guys how the pump works. the pump that i got, i told him that the 8th letter in the vin number for the car was an E. which is the tBi pump. but he took it back no problem which was great seeing i had already dunked it in the gas and all. tell you how it goes with the tPi pump. should be here tommarow.
that 8th vin letter thing is confusing though. how come they can't just put TPI or TBI in the database or even the PSI or anything????
