what is the cost of changing from MAF to MAP?

My 87 IROC was completly totaled and I pulled the complete TPI system, and found that the MAF was worthless. So if I have to spend the money,I was just wondering what the cost and parts involved would be?I am putting it in my 2nd gen or nova. thanks for the help,Mark

You mean the sensor was toast or found out that the MAF system is limited? What exactly would be the application... in clearer terms, is this car a cruiser or a strip/street car?

If the former it would be cheaper to get a new MAF and install what you have. If the latter, search a bit for miniram, stealth ram, super ram and ram jet and just get the harness for the SD. The mnfg of the harness should have an idea of what all you need to do the swap. I think a board member on here actually makes harnesses. If you want let me know via PM and I'll verify he does.
