so, I opened up the intake box and cut the bottoms out. I gutted the mas air sensor. Installed a afpr. k+n filters. bumped base timing to 8 degrees. Bypassed the coolant at the throttle body... now whats next to get this dog movin?

Headers, high flow cat, good catback. You can increase the actual output of the engine all you want. But have you ever tried to huff and puff through a coffee stir straw? Not exactly the most efficient thing on earth. Your exhaust system isn't exactly up to snuff, either.

it has a real loud flowmaster exhaust on it, i think the cat is an original factory piece. what do you think about eliminating the smog pump, is it worth the trouble of rerouting the belt or is it not all that big a difference?
