85 TPI fuel rail on a 91 setup?

85 TPI fuel rail on a 91 setup?
I now the 85 uses the 9th injector and my 91 setup does not. My question is can I just remove the 9th injector, plug the hole left and run this on a 91 setup? I'm going to run the 730 speed densiity setup in my 383 using a TPIS intake, SLP runners and modded upper plenum.
