Super ram swap

If I went and bought a super ram plenum and runners could I just yank off my tpi setup and put on the super ram on the stock base?

Yeah, but I'm not sure it's what you need. Headers would probably make a MUCH bigger difference at this point. Without heads and a cam, I imagine the SR would just be more headaches than it was worth.

...curious what other people think on this issue.

The stock base is likely more of a restriction than the stock runners/plenum. I'd recommend swapping the base if you're going to add the SR.

I wouldnt goto the trouble of installing a super ram without replacing the restrictive stock baseplate. From looking at your sig I see that you have a pretty stock 305ci. If you goto www.Lingenfelter.com and look up the SuperRam You will see that they don't recommend it for a stock 305ci. engine. It's designed to work best on 350ci.-420ci.

Yeah thats what I thought but I'm puting in a zz383 this winter so I figured I'd start buying parts now.
