Surging problem..help!
My car is a 1989 Iroc-z 350 TPI - stock
Since i bought the car it has had a growing surging problem at idle, it has seem to have gotten worse..it now surges at almost every stoplight and dies unless i keep the rpms up
Things i have tried-
Recent Tune-Up
New TPS sensor
New IAC valve
Fuel pressure is fine, holds
There are no vacuum leaks
New Fuel Filter
I have run out of ideas, the person i bought the car from said the injection system had been gone through, but i am thinking maybe it's the injectors? I did check the ohm resistance, it ranges from 10.3 to 16.6
Should i buy new injectors? any help is appreciated..
thanks in advance

Yep, EGR would be my first try. Just unplug the vacuum line and plug it up, get a service engine light but should run ok and you'll know where to start. Might be a timing problem in the ESC but you should be getting a light from that.

Update!
I finally found some time to check the EGR valve, it seems to be working just fine. Thanks for the suggestion. While i was trying to diagnose it i found that when i pull the power to an injector it smoothed out the idle? I'm not exactly sure what this means so if someone could be of a little help to me i'd appreciate it. It doesn't make a difference which injector i disconnect they all seem to have the same effect.
Oh yeah, I also tried some of the Chevron fuel injector cleaner that you just dump in the tank.. don't think it changed anything.
Thanks for the help
