fuel pressure regulator

I'm looking for the entire fuel pressure regulator for my 87 IROC
350c.u. Everyone sells the kit which is the spring/ diaphram replacement. I replaced that but my pressure immeadiately bleeds
down when the fuel pump stops. If I pinch the fuel return line it
holds. This would mean the seat of the regulator is leaking. Dose
anyone know where to order the entire regulator from?

The only place that I know of that sells the complete assembly is the dealership and when I bought mine about 5 months ago it was $163.00 + tax (ouch). There might be some aftermarket ones out there somewhere. You could try gmpartsdirect to see if they had any.

Any auto parts store should have them. Last I knew, Checker Auto had them. You can also try these guys. I believe they have them for 70 bucks. Call them:

I have one I was about to drill out and modify for use on my new setup.. If you offered me the right amount, plus shipping, i'd part with it.. Seems as if I need to buy one with threaded connectors, rather than press fit.
