Question about aftermarket runners....
I was wondering if just replacing the stock runners with some Edelbrock ones if I would gain anything at all? If not, would I lose any power? Im on a budget and have a chance to get a great deal on them, so figured what the heck....just wanted to make sure I wouldnt lose any power....the engine is just a stock L98.....Also, does anybody know when I purchase gauges for my 1991 Z28, do I need electrical or mechanical senders/gauges??? Thanks in advance....

Depends on your ultimate plans. Personally I like the AS&M runners for LTR set-ups. Maybe SLP next if they are hogged out, but that takes away from the TPI look a little. Big Mouth manifold under either. I'm somewhat partial to that set-up.

I've got the SLP's on my car, no HP numbers, but I can tell you the car has plenty of torque and it runs it's ***** off. Went a 14.28 bolt on only in good and pulls to redline. Outta speak for itself there.

Well, I went ahead and got them. I didnt figure I would gain 20hp or something rediculous like that....just didnt want to lose 20hp by putting them on basically a stock motor. My ultimate plans are rebuilding the block with forged internals, a mild EFI cam and a PROcharger
But, I have to fix EVERYthing else first..lol.
