maf and injectors need2 b matched ?

do i have 2 match my injectors with my maf or will any maf work ? thank s in advance.:hail:

Your chip should match your injectors. Your MAF shouldn't matter.

wasnt sure a mustang guy told me they had to match and i am in the process of chasing code 34 ,so iwas goin to buy 1 and wanted the right 1 the first time ...thanks 4 quick reply.:hail:

Thats what you get for listening to those Ford clowns.

The Ford EEK system has few similarities to the GM system. I'd try to not take too much of their advice, stick to the knowledgeable guys around here.

Getting a new MAF or injectors? Curious...

getting the maf replaced , has a bosch on it now .it throws code 34 . i think because, because i touched a sensor in side . kind of a expensive guess . its weird cause sometimes the car will fly , and other times it will bogg.

Sounds like a code 34 issue. Can you swap in someone else's MAF and see if it still does it?
Check for vacuum leaks. Make sure the TPS is set right. Unfortunately just because you get a MAF code, doesnt mean that is the problem, could be a number of other things causing it.

tps worked fine before engine change so i wouldnt think that.vacuum on the other hand ,could ya tell me what the skinny plastic tube vacuum is 4?it looks like it runs into firewall and along the wiring harness. its hooked up ,just dont know if it needed thanks:hail: :yourock:

well i un hooked it and it ran better, butt still have problem heat quit because of this
