Adding HSR or Other Ram Intake

If I have a 350 long block and I was to add HSR or another ram system to it, what woud be the approximate cost, and what parts would I need as compared to adding one to an L98?

Not sure what exactly your asking, are you doing a retrofit?
You can get a junk yard harness and mod it or buy one for $300ish.

As far as chip/ECM, DIY is the best method, or you can buy a chip at $300+.

You can get a 7730 at the scrap yard or buy a rebuilt, but the core charge is a little high. JY ecms are $20-$50.

The chipest chip burner route is moates.net, around $150 plus a lap top.
Need adapter G1, Buner1 and maybe a cable IIRC. Software is free. It's all explained there. Go to DIY Prom and read the intro stickie. Not that hard once you figure out which table does what. Lots of help over there too. But lots of reading. Lots. Takes a while to start clicking.

Check the TGO home page. In the tech articles is a TBI to TPI swap article.

How the engine is setup will determing how much tuning you'll need.

If you go with an aftermarket TB, you'll need to the little coolant/IAC plate for the bottom of the TB. $ about $40 new.
Also, you need a pre 89 TB as the throttle cable guide rail will not clear w/o some cutting on the later TB's.

Edit: stupid laptop keyboard....
