Crank Case Pressure

I am having a problem with positive crank case pressure. The PCV valve is new and has plenty of vacuume. However I still have oil vapor getting blown up the PCV breather tube and possibly out an engine seal. Does anybody know how to stop this?

Welcome to thirdgen.org!

Seems like you may have excessive blowby, generally you need to rebuild it.

How many miles on the engine?

You need to have a leak down test done to your engine. Most likely, your rings are worn on at least one cylinder to the point that it is getting a lot of blow by. Only a leak down test will tell for sure.

Give the leakdown test a shot. The stock evac system is pretty limited though
