Intake manifold size question

I need to replace the intake manifold on my '88 L98 Iroc. I have access to the manifold from an 86 LB9 Camaro. Are there any differences between the two? (Runner or port size, bolt holes, anything).

I will be re-using the injectors and rails from the L98, as well as the runners and plenum. Thanks for any information you can give me.

Yea, there is a difference. The center 4 bolt holes are at a different angle. It can be fixed, but you'd need to elongate the holes and use angled washers or machine a spot on the base so that it lines up properly. Its possible to not use washers though, and the bolts might interfere a bit with the runners (did on mine).

Thanks for the information. The only other thing I need to know is, for any year TPI (85-92) were there any differences in the manifold between engine sizes? i.e. is an '88 TPI L98 Camaro lower intake manifold any different from an '88 TPI LB9 lower intake manifold and are either of those any different than an '88 L98 TPI Vette manifold?

Nope, same in each year as far as size is concerned. Only bigger ones are aftermarket.
