350 TPI rebuild
Hey,
within the next few months I want to rebuild my 350tpi engine.. the problem is ive never done so...
what does a rebuild consist of.. is there some kind of guide that will help me? also while i have it apart i want to add some preformance parts.. ill have about 4,000 to spend by the time im ready for the rebuild... tell me what you all think.. I want this engine to be safe for another 100,000 miles...
also when I do the rebuild i want a new spedo starting at 0 miles is there anywhere that sells them new? Or is there a way i can turn mine back?
thnx ,wes

If you've never rebuilt an engine before, then I suggest you enlist the services of someone who has to at least help you out. You can learn a lot with their help as opposed to doing things wrong, then having to redo them.
Once you pull the motor and get it apart, you'll know what is needed. Do you have the tools/equipment needed? If not, be sure to budget that in too.
Good luck and have fun!
