port vortecs or go with fast burns?

Hey quick question, if anyone here had to choose between porting & polishing vortec heads, or just go ahead and purchase a new set of Fast burn heads what would it be?

I'd get a new set of the large port iron Vortec's.

I would say fast burn, cuz I believe they have more potential. They have 200cc intake port and bigger valves. But for the price, you could get some trick flow aluminums, if not for just a bit more $. Better head in my opinion.

having fastburns i'd say neither.......if your going to bother save up and do it right. took alot of money to get my fastburns where they are and for a fraction more i could have had a better head with easier intake choices.

but on a good note either one will work and they are affordable so i would go with the cheapest.
