ok..my tpi car runs great cold..when up to temp it starts to cut out and hesitate when accelarating...only when its up to temp!..if you let it sit for 1/2 hour it will run great until its back to temp again..i have checked grounds and replaced everything except the distr...i think i'm going to swap out the distr. for a reg hei..now is there a way to keep the computer in the cold mode?..sounds dumb but just to see if it will affect my problem...any ideas?.. thanks for the help

no cats..in a 57 chevy w/painless harness..ran great..returned from the track started all this fun next day..replaced about everything..tired pissed..not having fun!

 

Sounds like a glitchy ignition module to me.

replaced the ignition module...also coil, coil pick up, cap,rotor,esc, chip computer, knock sensor..i about tired of this gonna see about getting a regular hei
