since there isnt ANY room from the tb to the radiator i was wondering if anyone has split the intake pipe and ran 2 maf sensors? just something i thought of the other day.... if u moved the battery to the back took out all the junk on the other side split 2 pipes and have them tuck into the spots in which u removed stuff? didnt knwo if it could be done just askin
Why can't you use just one maf. You would then measure half the air going into the engine. Then burn a chip to calibrate it.
You will be able to read double the air flow with half the resoulution. 255 gm/sec would now equal 510gm/sec.
Wouldn't that work?

Personally, i think the maf would be slightly off (leanwards), Because the maf side would be slightly more resistive then the free flowing side. I know the maf doesnt resist much air at all but when air had the option of another path entirely its much more profound.

Been discussed before. The MAF issues have been hashed to bits a few years back. Some work is still being done, but not much good progress.ALSO - If anyone has a good contact at GM corporate, please PM me.
