ok i'm going to get my vette heads ported and I have accel ltr's and accel base all ported with the plenum ported, all are gasket matched. What cam will reap the most rewards? I don't wan't to buy zz-9 or anything else that rediculously priced. Also what stall converter?

What will you be using the car for mostly? Do you want street performance, track performance, good all-around? You have to choose the cam then choose the TC.

i want a nice weekend driver, still somewhat city driving friendly. But i'm hopeing to grab into the high 12's on the occasional 1/4 mile blasts. Also I would like to have a little rumpity- rump at idle.

Why isn't it thirdgen related?!?
A lot of people seem to like the LT-4 hot cam. You may not be able to reap the complete benefits of the cam, but with some tuning you should have a fun cruiser.

I would have to agree with Red Devil, that would be a good choice for a cam for your setup and not high priced. You would also need 1.6 Rockers to get the full benifit of the cam. Now, how much do you want to spend on a TC? I would say about 2500 stall would be good, up to 3000 depending on how streetable you want it.

well i was considering the lt4 hot cam with 1.6's, lpe 211 with 1.5's or the comp 08-304-8 with 1.5's. For the tq i was thinking around 2500 to maintain streetability and wanted to spend prob no more than $350.00 for the tq. what do you think?
