tpi distributor
tpi distributor
This is probably a question that has been answered a million times, but I want to know if you can put a msd pro billet distributor in a tpi car? Does the computer need to be hooked up to the distributor for the advance or can the pro billet and a msd box take care of it. Let me know thanks.

I just has a MSD pro billet distributor installed in my 1989 GTA 5.0 litre TPI engine with a blaster coil. They make a replacement which is worth the investment.

The distributor is a Pro-Billet Late Model GM V8 PN 8366. You will need a blaster coil with this distributor. It hooks right up to all the existing wiring. I have not installed a multi spark ignition box; however, it can be incorporated into this inginition set up. These can be viewed on the MSD web site and you could discuss it with their technical staff.
