What fuel pressure are you running with AFPR

Hi guys, what fuel pressure are you running at wot (0 vacuum) with a moderately modified TPI? The package for the TPIS regulator I got recommended 47. I started my 327 TPI with 40 psi, at which point the exhaust smelled normal, no hint of richness idling. I am cranked up to 46-48 psi right now, and the exhaust at idle smells super rich, like it did when I had a Holley 600 double pumper fuel dumper on my 327. I'm running 24 lb injectors, w/ the prom corrected for them. Should I take the AFPR back down to around 42 at WOT?

Back when my car was nearly stock I ran 45 and it was happy. If you can hook up a scanner, do it and see what you got. The higher fuel pressure should give you better atomization and more power as long as the computer can compensate for the extra fuel by decresing the pulse width. MAF cars are easier to tune with these variables than a SD system.
