Ignition module: which coloredwire goes to + and -

I have a green and a yellow wire that hook up to the ignition module on my 89 formula 350. The black plastic connector disintegrated when I disconnected it from the module. It was dark so I'm not sure which one goes where. Help ASAP would be appreciated.

Thanks.

On mine the green wire goes on the drivers side terminal, the yellow wire goes to the passenger side.
Insulate the wires so they won't ground out on the dist. base plate.
You may want to think about replacing your pick-up coil

If you're talking about the connector between the magnetic pickup and the module then you might like to know that the blade connectors are different widths for + and - to make the stock factory connection somewhat "idiot proof." The pickup polarity DOES matter, although I'm not sure if it would run if polarity was reversed.

Thanks for the input. I checked the resistance on the pickup and it was okay. Even though the old ignition module checked out OK, I replaced it anyway and haven't had any problems in a day and a half.
