TPI Head casting #'s

The following are the casting #'s that I found:

14102187...87-91...305..........1.84"/1.5" valves
14102191...87-up...350
14102193...87-up...305/350......1.94"/1.5" valves

Does anyone know if fore sure that the 305 TPI's had the 1.94 valves at all? I did do a search first, found nothing. I have been dormant the past year and have forgotten the valve size. My car is below, but I have stock 305 heads on it now.

Where did you get that info? The 350 TPI iron heads are 14101083, and my old 305TPI has 14101081. From what I hear the 081 heads are the best 305 TPI heads stock, and they have 184/1.50 valves.

motortec.

The info was not very specific, just gave years and some basic info, that is why I was asking.

Does anybody else have any #'s What is the difference between 305/350 TPI heads, and what would be a good straight bolt-on head that is inexpensive? I was just going to do a stock L98 head, but having trouble finding some near houston or dallas?

350 TPI (L98) = xxxxxxx083
305 TPI (LB9) = xxxxxxx081
305 carbed (LG4) = xxxxxxx416
305 TBI (L03) = crappy

All 305 heads had 1.84/1.5, and the L98 heads had 1.94/1.5. The vette had a set of heads that were aluminum and flowed amazingly well for a stock head (the LT1 heads didn't improve much, if any over them). Aluminum L98 vette heads would be a good, decently-priced performance head, and are easily ported because they are aluminum
