Retro Fuel Lines w/HSR

I have done alot of modification to my car so far, and I plan on doing the HSR swap this winter. I have one major question, My fuel lines come out on the passenger side because the car is an 83. Will I be able to put all of the fittings on that line? and then run braided line to the fuel rail? or under the engine? (how it is now)

Thanks any input always appreciated

IIRC, the fitting for the fuel lines on the HSR is on the driver's side. You COULD snake a flexible line over there, but it wouldn't be pretty. I'd recommend snagging some hard lines from a TPI car (ones that come up on the driver side) then work it like a regular TPI to HSR conversion.

Hope this helps!

Nope, the inlet on a Stealth Ram is on the passenger side -- at the rear. The return line fitting is on the driver's side. I really wish it was the other way around -- it would simplify my plumbing.

So you did a HSR on an early third gen? or you just have the lines on the passenger side? If anyone has pictures of how they ran line it would be nice to see! Thanks for the info

Nope, I have a Chevelle, not a third-gen. I hang around here cuz there's decent EFI info.

According to the Holley instructions, the inlet is on the passenger rear, and the return line comes out of the regulator, which is on the driver's side rail. After looking at it for a while, I couldn't come up with a good solution for running the inlet on the driver's side and return on the passenger side.

I have pictures of my HSR (off the car) and could scan the instruction sheet that came with it if you want to check it out. Let me know.

Run your own new fuel lines from the tank and be done with it. New -6AN hard lines are dirt cheap and easy to flare and work with. It will eliminate you making a creative solution.
