RC Engineering fuel injectors

Has anyone tried these, or have any experience with them? I'm trying to look at all of my options, but that is hard to do when I don't have any info on these. I can't do a search because "RC" is below the three charicter rule for our search feature. Thanks in advance for any input.

RC Engineering tends to cater to the import world...I don't think I have ever seen a thread about them on TGO. I do remember them from my days of owning a Turbo Talon and I believe that they were ok. They are just a vendor and re-sell mainbrand injectors.

Were you looking to pick up a set for your Thirdgen?

Thanks 88TPI406GTA. Yes, I am currently looking for a set of 36# injectors for my 91 Z28. I'm just trying to study what's out there before I make a purchase. I'm also on the fence as to weather or not I need 36# injectors or not. I think injectors as small as 30lb/hr will work, but I would like to have the ability to expand if I decide to. Do you have any suggestions on an injector type? I'm am looking to be making between 450-475 hp. Do you think I should be going with 30# or 36# injectors? Accel makes a 32# injector that I have been looking pretty closely at. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Stay away from the Accel injectors....too many people seem to be having problems with them.

The 30# injectors would work...but they are pretty well maxed out at 475-490 HP...you can make it work with higher FP, but I would consider the 36# SVO injectors...no problems there.

Good luck

I am in the same boat. I am putting in a 383 HSR that will be around 450-475 hp. I have read on TGO that the SVO injectors are rated at 39 PSI and GM injectors are rated at 43.5 PSI. I called fiveomotorsports and they say the 30# injectors will work by increasing the fuel pressure to around 48 PSI. I'm still not sure that I want to push my fuel pump too much. I agree with TheGreatJ, stay away from the accel. SVO's appear to be the injector of choice.

Re: RC Engineering fuel injectors

From the dead!
I just bought some RC injectors for my Iroc, If I have any problems with them I post here about it, otherwise, assume they worked just fine.
