Guys,
I finally got my car tuned right.
Added the asp pulley, adjusted the valves ( was strait out of the crate) replaced my trick black crinkle Pro-form vavle covers ( Both of them cracked and cuased a vaccum leak)
between the:
- ASP pulley
- correct valve adjustment
- stock steel valve covers ( no air leaks)
- Turbo city custom chip
It took about 9+ months to get fully straitened out ( Mileage is still not where I want it)
but the thing is awsome- the devil is in the details- get it tuned !
seriously - my Iroc drives, and runs better than I ever thought possible- now All I can say is new cars look out!
The power is wonderful, so much torque- plenty of HP- this is a great street combo - if you want a car that has power for all situations- acceleration is brutal, yet smooth.
Seriously - keep your thirdgen- just do the right mods
I couldn't imagine what it would be like with a comp 218/224 and a super ram- 911 turbo teritory

The car is best stoplight to stoplight. luanches pretty hard.
Probably low thirteens.
6spd LS1's are really fast over 100. The TPI would probably pull it to about 110, then because of the 700R gearing, and the TPI's power curve they start to flatten out a little. My LS1 will accelerate litterally to 150+ pulling the whole way, The vortec TPI stops pulling very hard once it shifts into OD
but the pull and torque out of turns is great, on a curvy road it's the style of power you want.

Got to love it man!!
i have a crate scroggin 350tpi which sounds like what you have.
once you get it right its a BEAST.
try porting your intake and that seems to help. also gutting the cat was a VERY noticeable gain.
best part is no one sees it comming.
you should be in very low 13s or with a little more high 12s.
i have not been to the track yet, but i have either found a whole bunch of very bad 4th gen z-28 and ta drivers or this car is pretty dang quick.
enjoy and don't forget to post some of your kills
