HELP car runs extremely bad
HELP car runs extremely bad
Ok heres the problem. I was at the track and was makeing a pass and right at about 4000 rpm in second gear the car started laying over really bad i look at the oil pressure and water temp and shut it off as soon as it laid over. Everything was ok. So i pulled over and made sure i wasnt leaking anything and fired it back up and started to drive the rest of the way down the track when the car started missing and then died. I got to the end of the track and pulled plugs and they all look like it was running really rich but not bad enough to not make it run. Now the car will barely start and when it does it runs really rich. I put the car on a snap on scanner and it says the car is ok to drive so that didnt help me
I had a new mass air so i put that on and that didnt help. It has good fuel pressure all the time and it has good spark. I cant really put a timming light on it because it wont run long enough. The tps voltage reads good and i put a new coolant temp sensor and intake temp sensor in it. If anyone has any ideas i would appricate it this is my daily driver.
Thanks again
Matt

What is your definition of good fuel pressure?
How did you verify the spark?
Will the car hold fuel pressure after you shut it off?
What is your cranking compression?
Did you pull all eight plugs, or just a couple?
Any strange noises?
Are you getting SES?
