Can't get the Knock Sensor out!!!!

My old knock sensor will not budge a cm! I kept trying but it started to round off the knock sensor so I stopped. I was trying to do this with the engine cold so I didn't burn the crap out of myself.

Any idea's guys?

Try channel locks or vice grips. You will destroy it getting it out.

I think I am going to have to drop the starter to get the leverage I need with some channel locks. To drop the starter it looks like I am going to have to drop the Y-pipe. This sucks.

Were you using an open end wrench or a socket? Try using a 6-point socket if you haven't already.
