The made more than 25. I can't think of reason to buy one of those other than nostalgia.

Yeah, I believe they were on sale from Summit Racing at the time, could order it just like you do a Super Ram...

Yea, unless you were like restoring a Firehawk or something. I could get a set of AFR's AND buy a HSR for what that intake will probably go for.

I must admit I was surprised by the results of the TPI shootout, but the mythical T-ram got 0wned by Superram and HSR.

For some reason the T-Ram has always appeared to me as a mirrored Ford 5.0 EFI H.O. Or what ever they put in the fox-body mustangs.

I'm a huge fan of nostalgia, heritage, "factory options" and stuff like that. Giving up power in the name of "cool points" stuff like that is all good with me.

....but damn, I'm not paying for a T-Ram. I didn't look at the auction but they normally go for WELL over a grand. It's not THAT good, jeez!

...and the TPI still looks cooler!

well, if I didn't have the afrs and HSR I would have bought it. yes he want's 1600 at least (I asked plus his other post says it too) but, for me it would be worth it. even with it's short commings

Cool for the "ooohh neato" factor, but don't other intakes (cheaper) work better?

For the record, If I could get $1600 for a T-Ram, I'd sell it too!

I had a buddy with a T-ram in his T/A, I dragged his *** up and down the street with my 350 TPI though. That thing does seem nostalgic. They could have made it look cooler as well. The TPI is among the coolest looking intake setups of the day (fuel injected atleast).

Of the day? Heck it's still the coolest factory intake I've ever seen!

Yeah.. I know it is.. I was just trying to be modest, trying to stay on topic , but realistically, i've never seen anything that looked cooler.
