Edelbrock intake question

I purchased the Hi-Flo system and when I replaced the intake manifold I noticed that there is a passage in the rear next to the hole for the distributor. This passage is not on the stock intake manifold, does anyone know what this is for? And if there is a way I can somehow "plug" it up. Is there a kit for it? Thanks for any info and any hlep you guys can give me. I cant go any further with the installation without stuffing that dang hole!!

The only thing that was included were the bolts for the intake. I'll call Kragen and see if they sell it. Thanks for responding.
